I am a highly trained and experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and am also a recognised subspecialist in Urogynaecology working in Cork University Maternity Hospital and in the Bon Secours Hospital in Cork.
My approach is to make the unique experience of pregnancy and childbirth as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
I aim to put expectant parents at their ease and to explain each symptom and each step of the pregnancy clearly and simply. We organise frequent antenatal visits with the majority of care provided in rooms. In a typical pregnancy there will be around 14 visits with a scan at each visit, providing reassurance and confidence in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
My vast experience in delivering babies safely for over 27 years has contributed to my expertise on the labour ward and to optimising the journey of labour and birth for my patients.
